Industrial Engineering expo underway in Indore till Feb 13 Indore, Feb 11 (KNN) With participation from around 300 exhibitors, the four-day Industrial Engineering expo began in Indore on Friday.

The expo is showcasing modern equipment and technology led by robotics and automation.

On day one, companies and service providers showcased latest technologies and practices aimed at cutting down production loss and enhancing productivity in the manufacturing industry.

As industries are focussing on developing robotic systems and automating industrial processes, stalls showcasing automated machines and technologies saw high footfall of industries.

The switch to robotics and automation in industries of Indore, a hub for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has gained pace with many decades old industries upgrading to latest technology eyeing overseas markets and quality consistency.

Pramod Dafaria, past president of Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh said, “Industries are looking for gradation and technology to beat the competition. The one who adopts the technology will survive while the others will be left behind. Industries have realised the importance of technology and are transforming rapidly.”

Industry players from Indore and nearby cities of the state are visiting the expo. (KNN Bureau)
