AEPC gives Rs 40 lakh towards fight against Coronavirus New Delhi, Mar 30 (KNN) The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) has immediately responded to the unprecedented situation arising due to the outbreak of Coronavirus by directing its CSR fund of Rs 40 lakhs towards fighting the pandemic.

“The Council has deposited Rs 40 lakh of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds in the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund in order to strengthen the country in its fight against the global pandemic which is both a health and an economic emergency,” AEPC Chairman Dr A Sakthivel said.

Dr Sakthivel has also appealed to the apparel exporting community to come forward and contribute towards the war against the virus.

This is a time when the government will need all kinds of support from every stakeholder to tackle the situation where the human race itself is threatened, he added.
